Hey there. It’s Andy Fletcher and I’m here to share with you my experience using iMovie for hundreds of editing projects for the past six years. While studying cinematography in college, I directed a bunch of plays and wrote a screenplay for a few of them. (I personally love “Death of a Salesman.” It tells a lot about the harsh truth of life.) However, that alone was not the best part of my college years. Since, I studied cinematography, video editing and production were a major part of my curriculum, which acquainted me with iMovie- gladly!
MY EXPERIENCE
I’ve been using iMovie for over six years now and have edited hundreds of video projects in the app- both personal and professional. And yes, I understand its limitations and capabilities; in depth. That empowers me to get better and better at my craft and educate the readers on this blog.
In all the years of editing, I have learnt the nuances of using iMovie- from its drawbacks to unparalleled advantages. And these little details help me do my job better (I’m the Video Production lead at a popular production house in LA).
